The tower features a Through The Trapdoor (3T) assembly method, which ensures that the person constructing the tower is always in a protected position. This innovative system significantly reduces the risk of falls during assembly, making it one of the safest scaffold towers on the market.
Constructed from high-grade aluminum alloy, the tower is both lightweight and incredibly strong, with a load capacity of 225kg (distributed). The components are designed for quick and easy assembly with no tools required, allowing you to set up and dismantle the tower efficiently.
The tower is supplied with adjustable legs to accommodate uneven ground, stabilizers for enhanced stability, and guardrails on all sides to prevent falls. The anti-slip platforms feature trapdoor access for safe climbing and provide a comfortable working area.

The scaffold tower uses the 3T (Through The Trapdoor) assembly method. Start by setting up the base frames and inserting the adjustable legs. Add the first set of horizontal braces, then diagonal braces. Continue adding frames, braces, and platforms level by level, always maintaining three points of contact and working through the trapdoor. Detailed instructions with illustrations are included with every hire.
The scaffold tower should only be erected on firm, level ground that can support the weight of the tower and any loads placed on it. Avoid soft or uneven surfaces. The adjustable legs can accommodate slight ground irregularities, but for significantly uneven surfaces, consider our Stairwell Access Tower instead. Always use a spirit level to ensure the tower is perfectly vertical during setup.
The standard scaffold tower is not designed to be moved while assembled. If you need mobility, consider adding our Wheel Kit accessory or hiring our Mobile Scaffold Tower. When moving any tower, ensure it's empty of people and materials, reduce the height if possible, check for overhead obstacles, and only move on firm, level ground. Push at the base only, applying force gradually, and re-level after moving.
The maximum load capacity of the Standard Scaffold Tower is 225kg (evenly distributed). This includes the weight of people, tools, and materials on the platform. Never exceed this limit, and always distribute weight evenly across the platform to maintain stability. For heavier loads, consider our Heavy Duty Scaffold Tower which has a higher capacity.
Our equipment is covered by basic damage waiver, which covers normal wear and tear. However, significant damage due to misuse, negligence, or improper assembly will be charged at repair or replacement cost. We recommend adding our Extended Insurance Coverage for complete peace of mind. Always inspect the equipment before and after use, and report any damage immediately.
