Essential safety equipment includes sturdy boots or shoes with good grip, eye protection to guard against flying debris, ear protection (especially for petrol mowers), and long trousers. For ride-on mowers, familiarize yourself with all controls and safety features before use. We provide basic safety equipment with our rentals, but recommend bringing your own eye and ear protection for extended use.

Our standard lawn mower hire includes the mower with grass collection box, basic safety equipment, operating instructions, and fuel for petrol models (sufficient for approximately 2 hours of operation). For battery models, we provide two fully charged batteries and a charger. Delivery to your site and collection after the hire period are included in the price. We also provide basic operating advice and a contact number for support throughout your hire period.

During your hire period, basic maintenance includes keeping the cutting deck clean, emptying the grass collection box regularly, and checking fuel/battery levels before use. For petrol mowers, check oil levels daily and refuel when needed. Never use the mower in wet conditions or to cut wet grass. If you notice any unusual noises or performance issues, stop using the equipment and contact our support team immediately.
