When operating a leaf blower, always wear eye protection to guard against flying debris. Ear protection is essential, especially with petrol models, as leaf blowers can exceed 85 decibels. Dust masks are recommended to protect against inhaling dust and allergens. For petrol models, wear gloves to reduce vibration fatigue. Long pants and closed-toe shoes provide additional protection. We provide basic safety glasses with all our leaf blower rentals, but recommend bringing your own ear protection for extended use.

Our standard leaf blower hire includes the blower itself, necessary attachments, basic safety glasses, operating instructions, and fuel for petrol models (sufficient for approximately 2 hours of operation). For battery models, we provide two fully charged batteries and a charger. Delivery to your site and collection after the hire period are included in the price. We also provide basic operating advice and a contact number for support throughout your hire period. Additional accessories like collection bags for blower vacs can be hired separately.

Many local authorities have noise regulations that restrict the use of power equipment like leaf blowers to certain hours, typically between 8am and 7pm on weekdays and 9am to 5pm on weekends. Some areas have complete bans on Sundays or public holidays. Petrol blowers are generally louder and may have stricter restrictions. We recommend checking with your local council before operating, especially in residential areas. Additionally, consider weather conditions—avoid using during high winds or when neighbors have washing hanging out.
