When operating floor care equipment, safety should be your priority. For sanders, wear dust masks or respirators, eye protection, and ear defenders as they generate significant dust and noise. For polishers and burnishers, wear non-slip footwear and eye protection. When using chemical cleaners with carpet extractors or scrubbers, wear appropriate gloves and ensure adequate ventilation. We provide basic safety glasses with all our equipment rentals, but recommend bringing your own respiratory and hearing protection for extended use.

Our standard floor care equipment hire includes the machine itself, necessary attachments, and operating instructions. For sanders, we include an initial set of sandpaper in various grits. For carpet cleaners, we provide cleaning solution for approximately 100 square meters. For polishers, we include appropriate pads for your floor type. Delivery to your site and collection after the hire period are included in the price. We also provide basic operating advice and a contact number for support throughout your hire period. Additional consumables can be purchased separately.

While most of our equipment is designed to be user-friendly, some machines like floor sanders and ride-on scrubbers require basic training for safe and effective operation. We provide comprehensive instructions and demonstration videos for all equipment. For more complex machines, we offer on-site demonstrations at delivery for an additional fee. For commercial clients, we can arrange formal operator training sessions. We strongly recommend reading all safety instructions before operating any equipment, especially powerful sanders which can damage floors if used incorrectly.
